It has been said that the greatest risk in life is to risk nothing. For love, you risk everything. Our first trip together was to Greece. Kait took the risk to take the leap of faith to go with David. We both risked our hearts as we began to fall in love. In Athens, the risk was rewarded with a Love Actually-esque embrace at the airport. In Santorini, we jumped off a pirate ship. In Mykonos, our plans falling apart turned into one of our wildest and most memorable adventures. And in Hydra, we slowed down to savor the most romantic dinner and what we had found between us. All in all, the risk is worth it. For love!

Ahhh sweet, sweet vulnerability. This second stamp is all about going deeper or as the say “refining the truths you tell each other.” Our first trip to Greece was magical but this second trip together deepened our relationship because of our increased vulnerability. From DoorDashing our plane tickets, to admitting we both were afraid of flying, to missed trains and finding our way through Europe one step at a time, we grew together as partners learning love through travel. Whether it was eating strawberry crepes in Paris or a lizard waving to us in Malta, vulnerability is all about being yourself together without holding back – walking to places together you couldn’t get to on your own.
